HORIZONTAL STABILIZER SUPPORT STRUT FOR F-35 MAINTENANCE 2 PCS
The Stabilizer Support Strut is designed to replace the F-35 program jack stand used to support horizontal stabilizers during maintenance operations. Engineered to be lighter, more mobile, and more efficient, it enhances both workflow and operational flexibility. Designed with safety in mind, our stabilizer support strut will crumple under excessive force, allowing Aircraft stabilizers to center safely.
- Single-handed operation based on a plastic handle with a pump mechanism.
- Quick-slide button for fast extension and retraction of the telescopic strut. Adjustable length: 1850 - 3150mm (6-10 ft)
- Adjustable holding force by rotating the support at the grip.
The unit is fabricated from high-strength steel tubing and equipped with durable steel fittings. Each end of the strut is equipped with custom-fitted suction cups mounted on 30-degree
adjustable adapters, ensuring stable and secure positioning during use. The base foot of the strut provides flexibility to accommodate aircraft movement, preventing the stabilizer strut from collapsing or disengaging during use. The suction cup facing the horizontal stabilizer includes a manual vacuum pump, enabling controlled and gentle attachment to the aircraft fuselage.
Suction is easily released by lifting the rubber edge of the suction cup to break the vacuum seal.
Protective covers are included to prevent damage to the suction cups when not in use. (Green covers)
Installation and removal are designed for speed and simplicity, requiring no specialized tools. This allows for quick setup and teardown, minimizing maintenance downtime. The unit is fully wrapped in reflective foil to enhance visibility and improve safety. Laser etching for tool identification, artwork, and unit patches is available upon request.
