Designed with precision, safety, and modularity in mind, it allows reliable and ergonomic access to critical rear fuselage areas, including the exhaust and drag chute, enhancing the efficiency of ground crew operations.¨

Design Features
Exhaust-Cleared Configuration (Exhaust Out Position):
The stand is contoured and dimensioned to allow safe clearance around the F-35’s exhaust nozzle when deployed. This facilitates inspections, servicing, and maintenance on the engine and afterburner components without removing the nozzle.
Robust adjustable stabilizing arms lock the entire stand structure in position, ensuring maximum stability during operations and alignment relative to the aircraft fuselage.

Retracted Configuration (Exhaust Retracted):
When the exhaust is retracted, the stand adapts seamlessly to provide tight access to the tail section. Its modular and adjustable components ensure it aligns correctly with aircraft contours while minimizing gaps.

F-35 Tail stand comes standard equipped with adjustable stabilizers for locking the service modules in secure position relative to the aircraft.
